Is it a Lifetime Warranty?
Renewal by Andersen’s warranty policy is a limited warranty that covers a variety of different things. For instance, glass coverage & the Fibrex frame is under warranty for twenty years. This means that if your glass fails or fogs up, Renewal by Andersen is just a phone call away. All of the other components of the window are covered for ten years. This includes the installation, so you can be sure that your window was properly fitted. Again, if you start noticing leaks or other signs of damage, we can send out a technician to address the claim in no time.
What isn’t Covered?
As always, there are a few things not covered by the warranty. The biggest thing to remember is that windows installed by someone other than Renewal by Andersen are not covered because we cannot verify that all installation procedures were followed properly. Secondly, any modifications made to the window can nullify the warranty. This includes security systems or other add-ons that you may be considering.
